The Karen people truely fight for God and Country!

The Karen People of Burma have been fighting for thier independence since 1948. They have been fighting for thier famlies and thier God. They have shed blood and continue to shed blood for thier homeland, Kawthoolei. Kawthooei means the land of flowers or the land without evil. Kawthooei is anything but, it is a home to rape, torture, murder and famine.
The Karen people truely fight for God and Country!
Terms
The Good Guys:
KNU = Karen National Union
KNLA = Karen National Liberation Army, military wing of the KNU
The Bad Guys:
SPDC= State Peace and Development Council, fancy name for the ultra evil Burmese Army
DKBA = Democratic Karen Buddhist Army, split from the KNU in 1994. Now used as strongmen for the SPDC. These guys are real nasty.
Other Terms:
IDP= Internally displaced person,
CFI= Christian Freedom International, where I work
